This reward chart is the best I've seen on the market. Reward charts are great for young children because they respond so well to stars and the process of using the chart. Whether your child is in the potty-training stage or the help-around-the-house stage, this chart is will work for you! Not only is your working on consistently accomplishing specific tasks, he is also learning goal-setting and even math/numbers. The chart is very durable and the stars have velcro backing. I can't say enough about how wonderful this chart is! It EXCEEDED my expectations!

I ordered this reward chart for my 3 year old son and was extremely disappointed in the quality. It looked very cheap - the fabric was very flimsy and had a strong odor, I could see strings and scraps of fabric stuck in between the layers of the fabric, the writing was not centered, etc. It must have been a cute product when originally designed - the concept is great - but the manufacturing quality control is lacking.

This chart is very easy to use. Fabrics are durable. The pre-made chore cards cover most of the basics, and there are plenty to write your own. Pre-made reward cards are also good. Our 3 year old does very well using this chart. The only thing to be aware of is that the chart is really designed for one child to use. Multiple children would probably need additional charts.

Charting is the only way I can get a positive outcome with regard to behavior in my strong-willed child. The results are long-lasting when I've done a good and consistent job with the charting. This chart gives me much needed flexibility with regard to task choices. I like the blank cards as well as my preschooler is pretty creative with his behaviors that need to be extinguished! He enjoys doing his chart nightly before bed and it gives us a point of discussion for tomorrow's day and how it will go or, if needed, be improved. I don't really like the food rewards too much but that's my issue. I just don't like to reward children with food or toys(which is not included as incentive in this chart) but that's just me. I would like to see more ideas for ways to spend one on one time with mom and dad in the incentive cards. But again, there are blank cards included for you to come up with your own. I just think the pre-made cards are so much cuter than my hand drawn ones. :)

We've had this for 3 weeks, what a big hit at our house. It was the most simple system I saw anywhere. We felt like we had started nagging our 4 year old daugther about behavior areas, and this allowed us to focus on the positive instead and work on our challenges as a team. She's totally into putting up stars every day and understands the concept. She's even learning days of the week. You can make your own categories for the chore or behavior topics or use their generic ones. Same for the "rewards" they get to pick if they achieve a goal for the week. Unlike the other reviewer who felt it was cheap, ours did not have an odor, strings, etc. and was pretty decent quality. It's one of the best things we've ever bought for our daughter and has brought much harmony to our house!

In the past we have used sticker charts with my 4 yr old daughter and she responded very well to the concept of chores/behaviour for reward. I had been looking for a chart that could be re-used and didn't need messy stickers. This chart is great - good quality and simple to use. My daughter can choose the week's activities and loves to put her own stars up as she earns them. She also loves that she can sort through the reward cards and choose her reward at the end of the week. We have hung it on an over-the-door hook on her bedroom door and she is very proud to show it to visitors. This chart is perfect for us.
