Only in this book have I felt really at home in ancient Rome and never wanted to leave. The story lives up to its stunning title from the word go, and and so does its equally stunning heroine.
The so-called review above, with its one star is absurd. The reviewer says quite openly that he's never even seen the book, much less read it. Amazon should not allow such nonsense to put potential readers off a good book.
