First of all, it really is just Deck The Halls; I have no idea why Los Straitjackets inserted the "(I)".This group has really captured the 60s guitar sound. You can call it surf rock or rockabilly guitar, but I think of it as sounding like The Ventures. This cut could have come from The Ventures' Christmas Album. (I) Deck The Halls packs guitar riffs and drum flourishes into its two minutes, and it's the kind of song that won't grate on you if you hear it a dozen times in December. You probably won't call it a masterpiece, but it's a good song. And it's free!

I have to admit that I have never heard this group before today, but the overall sound is pretty nice. The strange thing is that the repeating guitar line is blatantly copied from I Fought the Law by the Bobby Fuller Four
