I first received this product about 2 years ago, and began using it as a "private" TV viewing device. My main complaint is that it's not worth the money. If used in a medical setting for occasional use, it might stand up better. After 6 months, one of the earpieces had to be replaced, which the original company did at no cost. After the 6th month warranty, you need to pay "big bucks" to have the glasses repaired. After about a year, it began to corrode. The part that fits against your forehead has started to come unglued, leaving a sticky substance on your forehead. Sound in one earpiece is completely gone and just dangles beside your ear. They provide no care instructions or case. The glasses were used by an adult (media specialist) daily to watch TV. For $1,000, I would have expected better quality and longer use. I'm looking for an alternative and I don't plan to pay close to $1,000 for it! When it comes to these iglasses, my advice is just pass!

I bought this beause at the time it had one 5-star review. I now suspect from the company that makes it. First of all, the quality isn't that high. The resolution is ok, but the color density is not that good. Probably good enough for movies. I bought it to play with my XBox - big mistake. Then, after 30 days it broke. They fixed it, but I believe the cheaper versions would have been just about as good and not this large investment. I really regret having bought these.
Truly, avoid this product. Quality and relability are low.

I have the old version, which is still amazing. I can watch TV (and cable, of course) late in the night, through the morning, and my girlfriend don't even know if I"m sleeping or awake. I can rest my neck on my pillow, and still have great tv and sound.
This unit can save a marriage, or at least can show your partner that you respect this other person, without having to sacrifice YOUR needs.
Usually one partner sleeps early, the other one don't. One had to sacrifice to the other. BIG. With this " Eye TV" , you don't.
And it is like a Big 50" screen.

Someone knows if this new model have more resolution? the other one was already so satisfactory...!!!
