A very, very big surprise!,

A couple of years ago Diana Ah Naid released one of the songs I would place in the worst ten of the 90s. It was a pretentious and inept piece of pop called "I Go Off". I dismissed her immediately. Now I find I owe her a huge apology. Miss Ah Naid has completely grown up and with the maturity comes along with Jude's "No One Is Really Beautiful" my favourite album of 1999. She has created here the most blatantly honest piece of work since Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill". What Miss Ah Naid has added though is a touch of understanding. Sure she is vengeful and upset but she's not unwilling to step outside her square. From her strong vocals on "Piece Of Me" to her Tori Amos-like warble in "Blues Singer" and then to her unedited look at her own life in "Love Song For A Girl" and "I Don't Think I'm Pregnant", this is nigh perfect. Bring on the Arias in Australia, and for the sakes of those in America reading this give her a go. She has it in spades on our other famous Aussie chanteuse, Miss Imbruglia.

This album is definitely one of the best albums i own. Diana is one of the worlds best artists, and this album is the work of a genius from an artist with one of the best sounding voices ever. Some of the songs on this album totally rock and you will fall in love with them straight away. Others take a while to grow on you, but they eventually will, and then you will find yourself with album full of favoutites. This album is slighty different to her other album beatiful obscene, but if you like that album you will love this album. Beautiful Obscene can be found on this website, but you will have to search under the name Diana Anaid, as it seems Diana has changed the spelling of her name, and you can actually listen to samples of beautiful obscene, its just a pity people cant listen to samles of this album before they buy it. Just like ZEMONSTER says, GET THIS RIGHT AWAY along with Beautiful Obscene, as you wont be able to stop listening to them.

I got this CD from my father for my birthday recently. He said he had listened to her in some club in Australia, and had spoken to her producer. He told me she was so powerful and that I'd really like her CD. He was right! I love it and I encourage everyone to listen to this CD. Hopefully she'll be big in the US soon!!

An absolutely amazing artist. Her emotional and musical range will take you on a journey back to your own emotional center. If you enjoy FEELING music as much as you enjoy LISTENING to it, then this CD is for YOU! Get ahead of the trend and in touch with your heart! It's only a matter of time before she becomes a huge star in the States!!!

Unlike previous Australian pop singers, Diana Ah Naid is actually authentic, she has a brain to her, and she knows what it takes to write a great pop song with excellent lyrics. Her style is more of Electro pop, which is great in my opinion. The best thing about Diana Ah Naid is that she keeps her lyrics interesting, and her songs varied enough to keep you coming back for more. Buy this album and discover what real Australian pop is like.
