5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for the snowy months, January 10, 2011

If your pre-schooler loves vehicles, this book will be a great addition to your library for the snowy months. BONUS, if your pre-schooler is a girl, this book has a female snowplow driver! My little girl can't get enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just the thing for a vehicle-obsessed preschooler!, April 18, 2006
This review is from: I Drive a Snowplow (Working Wheels) (Library Binding)
This book is tailor-made for preschoolers. It features the clear, simple, colorful illustrations that are the hallmark of Picture Window's books. The text is simple enough to be suitable for preschoolers and even toddlers, but detailed enough to satisfy the obsessive interest of a vehicle aficionado. Sidebars and end matter provide additional information for older readers who just can't get enough.

The Working Wheels series covers a whole range of work trucks and vehicles: garbage truck, dump truck, bulldozer, snowplow, semitruck, ambulance. The second set is new for 2006 and includes fire engine, crane, tractor, freight train, backhoe, and street sweeper.

An excellent choice for libraries, preschools, and families with truck lovers!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for kids obsessed with cars and trucks!, July 23, 2005
This review is from: I Drive a Snowplow (Working Wheels) (Library Binding)
This is such a wonderful book for kids who can't get enough of cars, trucks, trains, etc. My son age 4 is enthralled by the detail in the book...and the pictures are very clear and bold-colored, which is what a detail lover loke him wants. Each page has EXTRA info in a side box in smaller letters, so there is an option to read it, or not. So multiple ages will like it. At the end of the book are more details, too: "Fun facts about Snowplows" !
