Stunning and powerful electro pop remix by Cicada..., May 8, 2006

Male vocal with an 80s alternative feel. The original has an 80s new wave guitar ballad feel (reminds me of Fiction Factory's "Feels Like Heaven" or "Heaven" by the Psychedelic Furs). The Cicada remix is 7 minutes of electro synth flourishes and beats that, while not a major dance track, will definitely have your body swaying. As brilliant as the mix Cicada did on Thirteen Senses' "Into the Fire." The b-side, "Italian Girlfriend" although not featuring a remix, is another light synth guitar track, but not as catchy as the lead track.

Lorrainse is going to make a big splash if they make a habit of releasing songs like "I Feel It". It's mellow on the new wave scale, employing less in the way of electro sounds and beats but there is a definite nod to standouts of that genre. The song is lilting, the vocals are fresh, and the remix from Cicada only amps up the energy to successfully translate those vibes to the dance floor.
