5.0 out of 5 stars From the alum that made Carole King, September 18, 2011

This review is from: I Feel The Earth Move (MP3 Download)
This is a bona fide classic; one of the early true rock songs of the 70's that made Carole King so successful both as an artist and a writer. This song has a really good beat, and it is honey on the ears. (like my metaphor?)

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Song from a Great Album, February 25, 2011
This review is from: I Feel The Earth Move (MP3 Download)
"I Feel the Earth Move", a track from Carole King's incredible 1971 "Tapestry" album, is raw, spare, minimal with the predominant instrument being her own voice, plus her iconic piano pacing the song. A guitar walks through chords quickly, and real drums (no synth stuff here, kids) and bass undergirding it all make this a true rock song.

Buying the song is not enough, since the album is so completely cool with "You've Got a Friend", "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?", "It's Too Late", "So Far Away", "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" and others all as good.

"I feel the earth - move - under my feet
I feel the sky tum-b-ling down - tum-b-ling down
I feel my heart start to trem-b-ling -
Whenever you're around."

I fully recommend "I Feel the Earth Move."
