His job as an itinerant safety engineer put wheels on a wagon that took this storyteller and his tales throughout the parishes. Eventually, Justin began telling his stories to larger audiences. He even recorded some of his work. It is reported that his first project sold over a million copies!
In the late 1970s, during a revitalization of the famous Louisiana Hayride radio show, Justin Wilson made a few stops in Shreveport to talk to his countless friends and neighbors, old and new. Several hundred enjoyed the live experience as thousands of others listened in through the broadcast capabilities of KWKH. A storyteller is who Justin Wilson is.
