I rarely find cd's worthy of purchasing. However, since I simply fell in love with the "On The Ocean" single, I decided to give this new artist a try. Believe me when I say I am not disappointed. From the first song, "I Get Around" to the last track, all of KJon's songs are awesome. I have been listening to the CD for almost 24 hours straight!!! LOL
You will not be disppointed either, if you buy this wonderful CD.

I rushed out to get this CD on it's drop date and well to be honest, I am a little disappointed. K'Jon has a great & soulful voice but his songs are a little empty for me. I can definitely see why "On the Ocean" was chosen as the single cause it's the best track here. I also like "This Time" it's lyrically nice and has a jazzy feel to it and was the first song that I put on repeat. I don't want to knock this brother cause I got a feeling his future productions will be more on point.

I think this style of music is appropriate and is easy listening. His voice reminds me of BeBe Winans. My favorite song is the Ocean which is why I bought the album. I liked the songs and I think everyone will be surprised by this album.

this is one you can just put in the cd player and let it play

With new artist, it is always a risk buying new CDs. I utilized the preview links and heard some of the songs. The "I get around" CD will not dissapoint the RB and neo-soul music lovers. At one point, the songs started to sound a bit similar but it appears to be the intent. As the CD flows well and makes for good riding music.
I enjoyed this CD and hope you do as well.

Welcome to newcomer to the music scene, K-Jon. Just what today's music needed a new soulful balladeer. When I first heard the hit single, On the Ocean, I thought it was BeBe Winans. Who knew it was some new dude called K-Jon? Who can't identify with a song with a message...undoubtedly we can all can relate to the idea of good fortune looming just over the horizon. Two great ballads on this cd.

I purchased CD after hearing the first track "On The Ocean" and I knew that K'Jon had quality vocals. K'Jon vocals are a cross beween Carl Thomas, and Tyrese. His vocals are much more refined and he has more of a wider vocal rage than Thomas. On his urban tracks he gives you the vocal swagger of Tyrese. My favorite track is "On The Ocean" of course. My second best is "On everything" which demonstrates his unique sound and power. The CD is a mixed of classic R&B and Urban upbeat contemporary tunes and a few sultry ballads. The CD is definitely worth purchasing. After hearing the CD, you will be enthused more than once or twice.

K'Jon is a smooth old school style R & B singer that has a Chicago stepper flavor. His mega hit "On the Ocean" is intoxicating as you could just repeat the track all day.

K'Jon is right on with a mix of smooth, mellow and hip tunes. This CD makes for a nice evening with wine and the right person. I was pleasantly surprised. I bio would have been nice to give a clue about his style. I hope he stays with it. I was reluctant to purchase because only one cut,Ocean, had been played on all stations. It made me wonder if he was going to be a "one trick poney" but "not". K'Jon brought the complete package. I hope he keeps it up.
