I checked this CD out of the library for my five year old but it quickly became one of my favorites (I'm forty!). Very well done.

David Holt is a consummate performer, master of banjo, guitar, spoons and a wonderful drum suit. This cd shows how much fun music can be. On the cut <I>I Got A Bullfrog<I> he and the band burst into spontaneous laughter twice- when I last saw him he said he left the outtake on to let the audience know what a good time he has performing. The cuts <I>Aint No Bugs On Me<I> and <I>Doodle Daddle Day<I> are light and footstomping good! The whole tape will delight children of all ages.

This album gets our family's vote for best all-round. Even the 14-year old will still launch into C-H-I-C-K-E-N at the right opportunity. It's a great car singalong album, and it doesn't drive the adults crazy if it's played, as demanded, over and over.

This CD is a huge hit with our family--the songs are catchy, memorable, and fun to dance to. If you like folk/bluegrass, buy it!

I bought this CD for my 3yr daughter. She loves music and I wanted to expose her to different kinds in a kid friendly way. She absolutely loves it, I have constant requests for "The cat came back" song. I really enjoy it too. The whole CD is fun to listen to.
