DAZ DILLINGERI GOT LOVE IN THESE STREETZ This is the re-release version of the album that Daz put out with a lot more songs and minus one from the original. That of course being the track with 2pac, but even then you get a lot more music for your money so it's worth it. 1.INTRO 2.I GOT LOVE IN THESE STREETZ-the first song out the gate is definitely one of the better songs on the album if not the best. Over a nice bouncy piano driven instrumental Daz speaks on his experiences on the streets. This would have been a nice single for the album, and could have done well on the radio and with a video. Each verse is full of passion from Daz and he comes very well because of it.5/5 3.IT FEELS GOOD TO BE FROM THE WESTCOAST-the song is just as good as the first and follows in a similar fashion. This like the other has a nice bouncy west coast feel to it, and like the last is pretty much about love in the west coast streets. Daz and Pornostyle sound good on this track, each verse is well delivered. Over all this is another good song provided by Daz.4.5/5 4.FEEL IT-another good track follows right after with the last, but this is more of a southern type track. Over a heavy southern influenced instrumental Daz teams up with Bun B and Rocc [I believe]. What you get is a cool gangsta crunk type track. This should have been on the "Gangsta Crunk" album from Daz.4/5 5.THAT WHAT SHE DO-the next track is for all the ladies that do that dance, all the strippers out there this is dedicated to you. This like the last track has a bouncy southern influenced beat, and like the last song would have fit perfectly on the "Gangsta Crunk" album. To be honest I think it would have been better suited on that cd. But over all a good song.4/5 6.THE LIFE OF A PLAYA-the next song is another short song for the ladies like the last song, except this song sounds a little more like Daz's style. I don't know why but this beat reminds me of early productions from Daz in his Deathrow days. But over all this is another good song and a worthy addition to the album.4/5 7.GET HI-next up is a cool little song Daz put together, and like the last is short and reminiscent of older productions from him. I' am really feeling the production on this track. It reminds me of the sound the west coast was putting out in the late 90's like 98, 99 time period. In fact this song would have sounded perfect on the "C-Style Presents Straight Outta Cali". 4.5/5 8.IF YOU WANT TO-this has nice radio friendly beat to it but this song is anything but radio friendly. Daz and Houston's Finest lay it down for the ladies in this song, this if cleaned up some how could be a smooth single. All of the artist on this track do their thing, and the beat is real smooth. A cool song over all.4.5/5 9.MY SYSTEM [RMX]-this is a remix to a song that appeared on Daz's album "Raw", which is the better of the two in my opinion. This version is ok as far a remixes go, but the original is definitely the soupier to me.3/5 10.I CAN'T SPEND THA NIGHT-now if the opening track was not the perfect choice for a single this song definitely would be. This track has a nice smooth instrumental with some nice pianos, and all three artist sound great on this track. And even though this is a Daz album he is basically a secondary artist on this song. The real star of this track is P.F.N. member Shon-Don who basically sings the entire song with Daz just doing the P.Diddy thing and Crystal making a few cameo appearances. Great song.5/5 11.IT'S JUST THA WAY YOU MOVE-this is probably the most heard song on the album since this song was all over the internet and mix tapes. With an eastern influenced beat and a really catchy hook Daz kills this song with his typical Daz flow and style, each of his verses sound great over this east coast style instrumental. The second verse is held down hard by Kurupt's wife Gail Gotti, who kills this song with a great sex driven verse.5/5 12.SHAKE THE BOOTY-I love the beat to this song, it has that classical music feel to with some cool strings. Daz kicks that gangsta style rap over a cool beat that leaves me wondering why this never had a video. Can you imagine a video based back in Beethoven's time with Daz rocking one of those wigs men wore back then.4/5 13.CALLIN' MY NAME-this song has an interesting beat to it, it kinda reminds me of the last one some how but I don't know how. This track is cool in a simplistic kinda way since the beat remains the same threw out and the hook is kinda simplistic. But it is still a real good song and the beat will have you nodding your head. I wonder what a video for this would be like.4/5 14.SHOOT EM' UP-now this is a real cool song right here, the beat for this song is great with a cool bass line and some nice flutes in it. The hook for this song will definitely sound familiar to any fan of the DPG. Crystal starts things off nicely and just reminds me that I wish her album would have come out. Daz then hooks up the second verse and kills it easily, and Shon-Don ends things nicely. This is defiantly one of the better songs.4.5/5 15.GANGSTA SUMMER-if there is any song on this album that will have you thinking about the Deathrow days of one Daz Dillinger it will be this song here. The instrumental is easily the closest sounding track to his old Row style productions. Even Daz him self sounds like he is stranded on the row from the flow to the lyrics to the Roger Troutman inspired hook. I would not be surprised if this song was originally recorded when he was over there.5/5 16.LOVE & HAPPINIESS-following the lead of the last track this one as well sounds like it is straight out the Row. This track with it's smooth production and Daz singing in a preacher style type flow reminds me of the last few tracks off of his debut album :Retaliation, Revenge, & Get Back". This is definitely one of the funniest tracks he has recorded, nice play on sex in this one.5/5 17.WHEN THA FEELIN' IS RIGHT-another track about the ladies right here, and another good track on the album. This track is kinda like "It Might Sound Crazy" has far as style and sound is concerned. Daz kills this track with a nice flow, and a really catchy hook. This could have been another potential single if cleaned up. Porsha sounds great on this track has does Licorishe both of them deliver on this track, over all a good song.4.5/5 18.I'MA GET MINE ANYWAY-the last song of the album is another dirty south style track that features the 5th Ward Boyz. All artist on this track sound good on this style of track, Daz really surprises me on this track. This is a good song but I would not have chose it as the closer track.3.5/5 Over all this is a good album and if you can find it get it, I think there are enough good songs on here to warrant it.

You can skip all these other reviewers cuz they don't know what they're talking about. I own every single Daz CD and this one is my all-time favorite. Sure, you lost the one track with 2pac from the original, smaller version of this CD. Big deal- the 8 new tracks make up for it. This is one of the best gangsta rap CDs that has ever been released, and if you're a Daz fan or even just a rap fan, you have to get this one. Tightest traccs: I Got Love in These Streetz, My System (the remix! way more knoccin than the original), Callin' My Name, Love & Happiness (funny as hell), and Shoot Em Up. This is a classic and I have been listening to every single West Coast/Underground rap CD you can think of for years and years.

There aren't too many independent artists who do it quite like Daz. Ever since escaping from Death Row, Diggy Daz has been pumping out albums on his independent label, DPG Recordz, like nobody's business. For the label's latest move, they have decided to re-release 2002's EP, "I Got Love In These Streets" as a full-length album with tons of bonus tracks. There are a few complaints to be had with the new version of "I Got Love" though. When most labels add to their catalog titles, they put the bonus content at the end of the record. Not the case here though as the new songs are mixed in amongst the original tracklist. Also due to legal reasons, "Only Move For The Money" (an unreleased Daz duet with Tupac) has been removed from this new version. Sadly, none of the new content can really make up for its absence. Most of the new songs feel like "studio scraps" with the exception of "Gangsta Summer" and "I Can't Spend The Night". If you don't already own the original EP, I would recommend picking this one up but I wouldn't go tossing out the original out-of-print version for this one. "I Got Love" works a lot better in its condenced format.
