How does one live with the guy?,
By Tom Stewart (Seattle, WA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I Have to Live With This Guy! (Paperback)
Something my wife gets asked on a daily basis!
Blake Bell had a great idea, how the partner of a well-known artist is affected by their work and how they put up with it! Behind every great artist...well Blake set out to explore the old quote and find out the truth of it. To that end he interviewed Will and Ann Eisner, Craig P Russell, Joe Kubert, Dick Ayers (he even gets drawn into Dick's autobiography), Stan Lee and many MANY more. Bell is able to get fun, insightful stories and answers out of the artists and their partners, and illuminates a side of comics that is rarely seen. |
