Fantastic contribution from the Diplodocus,

I love the longest dinosaur. Everything he drops is absurdly good. However, some of his mixes I have a hard time listening to start to finish because of the contrasting sounds. This is no fault of the music; the mixes in question are mash up mixes and part of their greatness is in combining so many different flavors, tempos, and genres. Nevertheless to me something is often sacrificed in the actual enjoyability of the mix by the choice to incorporate such diverse elements. 'I Like Turtles' manages to mash up material across an incredible spectrum while also sounding fantastic start to finish. This is my favorite Diplo mix to date. Buy this album.

He puts together great stuff. Perhaps I was expecting too much. I'm not crazy about the tempo on this mix. |
