....Vinx is something you give to people you really care about. Especially this album. The pieces on "I Love My Job" cover a whole gamut of moods & emotions, and it's easy to get lost in the splendor of Vinx's percussion & vocals. Vinx still does many of the songs on this CD in his live shows, which are terrific. It's definitely an exquisite piece of work!

What a wonderful collection of music that speaks to your soul. "Touch My Heart" (Track 15) - a song he wrote for his father who passed away - features on the piano the incredible talent of Patrice Rushen (Forget Me Knots, Haven't You Heard, etc.), and the whole formula is a moving, heaving piece of work that wrenches from deep inside love, longing for a deceased loved one and appreciation all in 1 song. You are a genius, Sir Vinx. Keep it comin'!

I looked online first for Vinx's "Rooms In My Fatha's House" When I saw that "I Love My Job" was also available I immediately purchased both. I couldn't wait for them to arrive. When they did I realized that I was right to purchase these albums again. It had been more than a decade since I last heard either album and I found that I still remembered them word for word, right down to the ad libs. When I first owned these albums I knew they were treasures, it's good to see they are timeless as well. Thank you Vinx. I can't wait until my copy of "The Storyteller" comes in, I get to discover something old yet new to me.
