Mary Crowley's lovely new book. I Love To Visit My Grammy, is just beautiful. Mary's illustrations are soft and colorful, and her message is one that should appeal to adults and children alike. I think this book would make a wonderful Christmas gift for parents to read to their young children and it would become a favorite! Older children can easily read it for themselves. The glossy pages are a reminder of favorite books I had as a child in the 1940s. I highly recommend this book for every child on your list.

This is a great buy for grammies everywhere. The little ones will love it. A read aloud or I can read book and it ends with a sing along song! Fun.

Mary's book is a wonderful addition to any child's library, but there are a couple of errors on this page. Firstly, the book is a hardcover edition with a jacket and second, the age level is much lower... more like 0+ because it works as both a read-to-me and a read-aloud book. This is a great present for grandchildren and a trip back in time for grandparents as well. Kudos to Ms. Crowley.

What a charming wonderful book! Mary has truly put herself into every word and picture. All very personal things that Grammy's and kids love to share are expressed so warmly. I loved the love shared in this book as well as the generation connection. I can't wait to be a Grammy myself so I can read this to my own little ones!

Every one of Mary Crowley's beautiful illustrations makes you want to crawl into them for tea and ginger cookies and to be bathed and tucked in by Grammy. The little ones will drool over it (which is okay, as the pages are nice and glossy).

When baby learns that you are Grammy, you can help to thank the author of this book for making the title a household word.
