My 3 young daughters and I love this book. It's a beautifully written story. The illustrations are lovely. And, best of all, it comes with a cassette that has the entire story sung as lyrics to a lovely, lovely tune. I brought it to Sunday School to share with the preschoolers, and they were mesmerized through the entire storytelling session. As they listened to the song, they obviously found the tune very catchy and they joined in and sang the refrain without any prompting. This is a really special book accompanied by a really special song.

The text rhymes beautifully. It's soothing. My one year old smiles as I read it to her. The story illustrates God's love in a simple, straight-forward way making it easy for little minds to understand.

I purchased this book for my Grandson & Granddaughter. It was performed live at his pre-Kindergarten program at his church school by a young mother and her daughter. Now my grandchildren listen to the tape in their Daddy's car all the time and love reading the book. When they say, "I Love You This Much", they spread their arms wide apart, you get caught in a bear hug squeeze. Just wonderful.

This is a WONDERFUL book that helps children understand the love of God for them and their infinite worth as beings created in the image of God. I stumbled upon it when my first child was one and have sung it to him (and my second child) every night of his life since (he's now four and a half). It works perfectly as a lullaby! I highly recommend it!

I bought this book along with at least 7 other books. I had never heard of the book before but based on the reviews, I thought I'd give it a shot. I must say that I was definitely not disappointed. Out of all the books that I bought, this by far is one of my favorites! The words are so sweet and truly reflect how I feel about my little baby.

The one thing I would caution is that this board book did NOT come with a CD of the song that many of the reviews reference. If I'm mistaken, and I just didn't get it - please let me know because I would love to have it! However, even without the CD of the song, this book was well worth what I paid and will continue to be a book that I read to my son and future children (fingers crossed) for a long time.

The kids in my Sunday School class ranging from 2 to 5 LOVE this book!!! They especially like the CD that is included.

I began reading this book to my daughter when she was only 12 months old, and she LOVED it! 2 1/2 years later my son and daughter still ask me to read this to them at least once a day! It is wonderful to use as an interactive book to give and receive hugs and kisses. We read it every night before bed. The gentle rhyme is wonderful. It is also a beautiful song.

I absolutely LOVE this book. There is a large version with cd included, and I definitely recommend buying or borrowing that one to learn the tune. It's lovely! Also, the parent bear is never specifically identified, so either Mommy or Daddy can enjoy reading/singing the words.

I was excited to share this book with my kids and am easily pleased with a children's book. This book was so choppy and not well written. There are so many wonderful childrens' books, don't waste your money with this one.
