Heard "I Need a Dollar" on the intro song to HBO's "How to Make it in America" and had to look it up. A truly catchy piano and horn combo along with lyrics that serve as an anthem to those struggling to make a living. "Take Me Back" also grew on me after a few plays. Can't wait for the full length album that is forthcoming from Aloe Blacc!

I HIGHLY recommend this cd! This is a GREAT cd that is just not getting it's due on the music scene because of all the garbage on the radio today. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not give this artist a listen!
