After hittin' her website and downloading the promo mp3's, I was startled by the quality of the production on this album from a fledgling label as well as the talent that Kristine Sa has. As a result, I ended up purchasing this album within 3 hours or so of previewing it (something for me which is unusual, considering the amount of music I have and listen to). It's very rare in this day and age for a pop artist to sing and write their own material. Kristine Sa does that with ease, elegance and with such sincerity on each song she graces with her vocals or spoken verse. Picks off the album for me are "A Dose Of You", "Hold You Forever", "Nexusbeat/Parallel Fates" and "We". Britney and Christina could learn a thing or two from Kristine for sure. Am definitely lookin' forward to her sophomore album after purchasin' this one.

This album's got it all- slow songs, fast songs, spoken word...all that's missing is a lil bit of hip hop. The song that made me decide to buy the album was "We"...it's so emotional! I heard about Kristine like 2 years ago and I'm glad that she finally released an album. "The Arms of Paradise" is the one that convinced me to keep updated about her progress, this paid off when I heard "A Dose of You"- I would call this a dance track...

this is a great cd, i think, she sounds very sincere and her voice is really beautiful. what i understand about the negative criticism is that the people who gave it negative feedback have a problem with the genre. well the thing is if u listen to rock for example and then give country negative reviews thats just hatin'. thats not right to do that. but thats me then. i think the music is pretty good and light, has a trancy feel to it.

I have only recently been made aware of the phenomenon that is Kristine Sa. The following are my beliefs of what she offers to us...

Kristine Sa, through her words and the beauty of her voice, brings to us an insight into life itself. Her lyrics reach into our soul, ignite inspiration, and leave us in total awe. Her words cut into our senses and release feelings that have until now lain dormant.

She is not only a gifted songstress, but also a writer of beautiful poetry. Kristine Sa is what the people have been waiting for. We are the first to be hypnotized by this artist...but we won't be the last....

I have been waiting so long for this CD to be released! Kristine is an amazing artist--not only does she have great singing talent, but she's got great writing talent too. Positively my favourite Asian-American artist. This CD has an excellent mix of pop, dance, and soulful songs; a real variety and each song a strong one. A definite must-have...I already have it!

Just wanted to drop by and show my support for Kristine and tell you what a wonderful album she has..
The lyrics.. are sooo good! And I can't believe she even wrote them herself!
This album is a must get if you like ballads and a little dancing.
Beautiful poems are also included with a wonderful thank you note =)

This is one amazing CD! Vocally, lyrically and musically are just flawless from track 1 to 10. Kristine has that amazing and unique soulful voice, that expresses her love, pain and joy in every song. Lyrically, Kristine opens up her soul to the world. You would think that at least a couple songs were written about you (c'mon whose heart hasn't been broken at least once?). Musically, there's a blend of pop, ballad, dance and a hint of rock. It's almost an all-in-1 package that ties one track to the next nicely. Some of my fav tracks are (not in order) A Dose of You, Hold U Forever, Parallel Fates, Beautiful, Gone By Fall, The Arms of Paradise and We (that's nearly the whole album). This is such a stunning debut album! Great effort!

Well, here is my 2 cents about this singer.

Kristine Sa has a nice enough voice, deep and smooth.

But her songs aren't very good. They miss something whcih results in the songs sounding amerteur-ish, and un-professional in my opinionm which also leads to a non-desire to listen to her.

I think with a better song writer she could do much better with her voice which is not that bad.

Anyway, it's an OK CD to have, but nothing mind blowing.

gosh, words cannot describe how great this album is! i can't stop listening to the songs.. it's 1 of those albums u'll never ever get sick of.. the vocals r amazing, the lyrics r soo touching!! i got to see her live in the summer and it was amazing!! if ur lookin to buy a new album, i totally recommend this 1.. it'll make u dance, make u cry, make u laugh, smile u smile.. it'll bring out all ur emotions.. :)

Kristine Sa has an amazing voice, and her talents as a singer & lyricist are given top-notch production on this CD. Asian American pop is a genre that has a lot of talent that's ready to break through, and I'd say that Kristine Sa is at the forefront of the movement.

The songs range from heartbreakingly emotional to slick grooves. It's a diverse package, and Ms. Sa's voice is definitely up to the task.

Don't hesitate to pick this one up!
