Disappointed in Toy,

This toy is cute on the onset but that's it. The doors pop off all the time and it's extremely irritating for an adult to continue spending time popping the doors back on. A toddler can't pop the doors on back by themselves and few, if any, 18 mo olds are going to be able to use the keys to lock/unlock the doors (that continue to pop off) of the house. The houses nest but again, the doors pop off in the process. I gave this toy 2 stars because the figures are cute and the concept of the fairy tale toy is good but I would not recommend that someone pay full price for this toy.

The doors on the houses pop out of their grooves all the time. Its no big deal to pop them back in, but hard to do when you are 18 mos old. My older boy loved this toy too ( age 2-1/2). My younger one liked putting the pigs away and shutting the doors. My older boy liked using the keys.

The doors fell off the houses the first time we played with it. I could understand if my boys were tossing them around the room, but they were actually playing quite calmly with them. The concept of the houses is so much fun. Sadly, it's too frustrating for a toddler to have the toy fall apart every time they want to play with it.
I tried to contact the company, but so far, no response....

one of my son's favorite toys,

I originally chose this because my son (then ~14 mos) was fascinated with keys and I thought it would be fun for him to have theses houses with keys to open the doors... however, (as others have mentioned) the doors just pop off... which my son seems to like- he enjoys filling the houses with little pigs and people, stacking the houses in each other, popping the doors off and watching them be clicked back in (which he is now starting to attempt himself, ~17 mos) and just sticking the keys in the keyholes and trying to turn them (door need not be attached to house for this). So, even though these don't work as you would think (doors to be opened by keys), it is one of my son's favorites- he loves this set-- it keeps him engaged and helps develop fine motor skills...

My 1 year old loves this toy and we act out the story when we play with the characters. The wolf is most popular. I think you actually get alot of toys for the money. 3 houses, 3 pigs, keys for when she's older, the chimney is neat, and the wolf. They are color coordinated, the only downfall is the doors to the houses come off pretty easy...which i guess is good if you were to lose the keys, but i just tied the keys to the chimney with a piece of ribbon because my daugher isn't old enough to use them yet. I'd give it 5 stars if the doors didn't come off easily. I'm thinking about gluing the little hinges. Good buy though, and really good if you take time to teach the story with the characters. We've had it for about a month and it still keeps her interest. Also good in the tub and chewing on, sturdy rubber.

Cute concept, but doors don't stay on,

This toy is very cute -- three pigs and the wolf with little houses -- but the plastic is thin and cheap, and the doors won't stay on. My 15-month old tries to open them and they pop right off. I would not recommend it.

Let the story-telling begin!!,

My 3-year old LOVES this toy!! And so does his teacher. It has colors, spatial relations, imagination/story-telling and motor skills (the keys to the houses) all in one fun-packed place. Caveat: the doors to the houses come off pretty easily and do not withstand any sort of rough play.

The Three houses,
This review is from: iPlay Three Little Pigs (Toy)
Three Little Pig House was a hit with my grandsons. I bought it for the 2 year old because he likes to put one thing into another; it turned out that the 5 1/2 years old plays with it as well. Judith Kertesz

Very cute toy and good quality,
This review is from: iPlay Three Little Pigs (Toy)
It is a good quality, beatiful, cute, and fun toy. My daughter is 14 month and loves to open/close and putting the pigs/wolf in and out of the houses. I have to help with the keys/locks because of her age. We have fun togather with this toy. It doesn't take a lot of space to store, but it's "a lot" to play with the 3 houses (Many of our other toy figurings can go into these 3 houses also). The keys store on "top" of the chimney at the three openings.
