5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun !
Little Roadster
My 2 year old grandson played with this forever! Very durable. The little rotating road map keeps their interest and gives them a feel like they are really driving. Buttons pushed make a beeb, car can go in reverse and lights blink, keeping them amused for a very long time! This toy was made for in-home playing, not in the car.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun, but a little noisy - great for car rides
My 2 year olds love to "drive" with these in the car or stroller. They don't quite get how to keep the car on the road, but they don't care. It keeps their attention for a good span of time, and makes them a little more tolerant of getting in the car seat. It has survived many times of being tossed across the car. My only complaint is that it is a little noisy and can get...

This is exactly what I wanted for my2 year old daughter. She loves sitting behind the wheel of my car and pretending to drive and now she has her own wheel. She doesn't seem to play with it very often, but that might be because of all the other Christmas gifts. I think it's great. It has a little car that actually moves on screen in response to the driver's actions. The sound effects are good. There is the knob to turn to start the engine and the stick shift to put into reverse or forward. Plus the sound effect buttons for the police, ambulance, fire truck, etc. The sound is not annoying or too loud. Everything you could want in a toddler toy.

My toddler son loves this thing. So does his 64-year-old grandfather. It plays decent music. It has a dashboard that makes it look like the kid (or the grandparent) is actually driving. It goes in reverse, too. There are buttons to make noises like a siren. Simple and fun.

The kids love it! The sounds are nice (not too annoying) and you can turn it off!

Our son played with this toy for a couple of years. Battery still OK!!. He's outgrown it now (3 1/2) but enjoyed the noises and learning to steer, etc. for many road trips, and even just around town! Good purchase.

This turned out to be a favorite birthday gift, for our steering wheel-obsessed 12 month old. As others have mentioned, the sounds are not too loud or obnoxious (nothing like the toys we reluctantly wind up hiding). Our baby even imitates the wheel's different sounds! The music is adorable and the blinkers actually work. I have caught my other kids playing with it, even the older ones had to try it out - it's just so cute!

We bought this toy for our son's first Christmas last year (he was almost 1 at that time)... it was a bit difficult for him to play with since the wheel isn't mounted on to anything. But we knew that when we purchased it. He did like the buttons and the scrolling scenery... then, within SIX MONTHS, the toy stopped working. This past summer, since we noticed it stopped turning on, we decided to finally replace the batteries- which is what we assumed the problem was (although batteries tend to last a bit longer than 6 months). No, the trouble wasn't the batteries, it was the steering wheel. It no longer worked! I was stunned- never have I experience such a short life on a toy. Shame on me for not contacting the company about it, I was just too busy. But seeing this toy today reminded me that I should at least warn others!

I thought this would be good for the car rides for my grandson. NOT. It has to sit on a solid surface and it keeps making the same annoying sound unless you turn the wheel. As long as the wheel is turning it seems fun...but my 2 yr old grandson hasn't figured it out yet. It doesn't entertain like I thought it would in the car. I was disappointed.

This toy scares my son because it is so loud. I am not a parent that gets easily annoyed with singing/buzzing/beeping toys, but this one is really aversive. I wish they had a volume setting, then it would be fun. Also the on and off switch takes quite a bit of muscle to turn on and off. I feel like I wasted my money :(
