This is a great game for pre-schoolers who don't quite understand the concept of "winning" when it comes to board games. My daughter received this as a gift when she was 3 years old and loved it. Even when she "loses" it's fun for her. She's now four and this game continues to be one of her favorites. She better understands the objectives now and actually tries to think out the placement of the monkeys.

We've given this game as gifts to other pre-schoolers and get good comments from their parents.

My son received this as a gift from a learning supply store when he was four. This toy is a lot of fun, for all ages. We have had kids play it from 4 - 10 and everyone has had a lot of fun and had a great learning experience! I recommend it highly for both boys and girls.

A fun game because of the monkeys. My granddaughter likes to put the monkeys in the lake with the aligators. The spinner doesn't work very well, my only complaint. Sometimes we use a spinner from a different game.

My 3 ad 5 year old LOVE to play this game! They have so much fun finding different ways to balance the monkeys and laugh every time the tree falls. It's a good game for counting and balancing. Simple enough for a 3 year old, yet very entertaining...even for mom! Highly recommend!

My son received this as a gift when he turned 4, and we all love this game. Slightly educational since you learn about balance, and different strategies for hanging monkeys. But mostly it is fun. The magnet is a great design idea.

ONE RULE SUGGESTION: add a penalty if you knock the monkeys down (like you need to "take back" one monkey into your pile), otherwise people might knock down the monkeys on purpose. Still, no matter what you do, it is fun.

Purchased the "Monkey Tree" last minute for my 4yr old daughter at christmas.
Glad I did, fun game, easy to learn not exactly the most educational of all games
but we have had lots of laughs playing this together.

This is a fun game for younger kids. They really enjoy it. My 4 and 6 year olds play it together.

TOTALLY cool toy. Plastic is durable and it is a great 'balancing' game. I love that the spinner is on the base. I highly recco it. My 3 and 5 yr olds have been enjoying it.

This game is fine for the price. I would say you would get your money's worth, the product is durable and doesn't require batteries, which is GREAT. However, it is not a game my 4 year old goes back to very often. Probably only played it a hand full of times in the year we have owned it. But, it is a game that anyone can play, all ages. Can play by your self or with several others.

I bought this for me and my 2 year old to play together. She loves games but there aren't many for her age.

The spinner is horrible! It doesn't spin properly at all! The magnet needs to be a little stronger. It is pretty predictable when it is going to fall when you get to a certain number of monkeys.

Overall, she likes to play it! Great for hand/eye coordination and learning to take turns!
