5.0 out of 5 stars and you thought you liked the mix you heard on the radio...., May 27, 2000
This review is from: It Feels So Good (Audio CD)
OK people. So by now, we've all probably heard Sonique's "It Feels So Good". Well, how about the remixes... here's a rundown.

1) Original 7" Mix - This is just a shorter version of the Original 12". See review below.

2) Breakbeat 7" Mix - the version that you're hearing on the radio. This is a very hard song to categorize in terms of "house", "electronica", "trance" or "freestyle". And why? Well, because this song embodies elements of each of these genres of dance music. Definately one of the freshest songs that clubland has heard in a long time. Unfortunatly, only the 7" is on this single, and not the full length 12"..

3) Serious Remix - This is the best verison of this song that I have heard! A hard edged houser that verges on the borders of trance with a dash of progressive thrown in for good measure. Easily the best mix of this song. If you enjoyed "Hex's Momentous Club Mix" of Jennifer Lopez's "Waiting For Tonight" then you should enjoy this one as well.

4) Original 12" Mix - The housiest version of the bunch. With bouncy beats with tons of focus on the chirpy violin strings. This version keeps all of Sonique's vocals intact and could be described as just a faster version of the Breakbeat Mixes.

So, if you are a fan of this song, you need to get these remixes. You will not be disappointed. I wasn't.

This review is from: It Feels So Good [Vinyl] (Vinyl)
d.j.s out there, this is a must have, no matter what you spin. non-d.j.s out there. this is a must have, no matter what you listen to. sonique's vocals are angelic, to say the least. plus, the trippy beat is amazing.

Sonique's "It Feels So Good" will not be a disappointment to your ears.

All four versions provide for excellent listening and club dancing. The serious remix (#3) contains great sounds, vocals, and beats.
