Editorial Reviews

Review

Praise for I Say, You Say Animal Sounds:

"A playful lift-the-flap read-aloud...Quirky moments, such as calves dancing to a boombox and a frog doing the backstroke, add to the fun of the inevitable repeat readings....With bold, active art and a noise-inducing, interactive text, this offering, part of the I Say, You Say series, will work for both group and one-on-one read-alouds."
Kirkus Reviews

Praise for I Say, You Say:
"These colorful, playful books encourage interactive learning through prediction and repetition; but most importantly, they look really fun."
--Dr. Robert Needlman, co-founder of Reach Out and Read and author of Dr. Spock's Baby Basics

"Little ones will enjoy the repetition and interactivity of these offerings, celebrating as they correctly guess the words hiding under the flaps. Carpenter's predicable, interactive titles in the I Say, You Say series offer appealing introductions to basic concepts just right for toddlers and preschoolers"—Kirkus Reviews

I'm a big fan of Tad Carpenter illustrations so knew I had to get this series for my sweet little nephew. The colors are great and the illustrations are charming. My nephew loves this book series!

My daughter and I enjoy this book. The illustrations are cute, and cover some of the basic opposites for younger children. I only gave it 4 stars though because I wish it were a bit more durable. My daughter has already ripped some of the flaps accidentally, and I have had to tape them back together.

This is my toddler's new favorite book! I love reading it too, there aren't too many words and the design is really good. It keeps my toddler entertained and he reaches for this book every time.

A rather cute book that introduces basic 'opposite' terms to children with its vibrant illustrations and easy to read words. Wishing for more!!
