5.0 out of 5 stars BEAUTIFUL!
Not only does this story have a wonderful message that God is always nearby, the illustrations are absolutely captivating! My son just loves the pictures in this book, and you know what? So do I!!! I think this book is worth the purchase just for the beautiful illustrations which make this old favorite come alive!

1.0 out of 5 stars Rather odd book for a child
I purchased this book because my daughter, adopted internationally, was given a name at birth which refers to the moon. We have many "moon" books for bedtime. Unfortunately, this book is not so soothing, and relies rather heavily on a Christian theme, which is not what I was expecting from teh title. The child is going to bed and sees the moon, but on the next page...

5.0 out of 5 stars I See the Moon, November 27, 1999

This book has a great message that young children can easily understand. The illistrator did a wonderful job! The entire book is just beautiful. Our two year old follows the little girl from sitting up in bed at the start of the book to laying down at the end. The flow of words is soothing and is easy for our daughter to memorize as well. This book is always in the "must read" pile at bedtime and is cherished by everyone in the family.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of our all-time favorite books!, June 25, 2003
This review is from: I See the Moon (Hardcover)
We received this book from a friend when we were expecting our first baby, and now, six years and three children later, it is still one of the most prized books in our family library. The rhyme beautifully expresses a child's faith in God, and the illustrations are gorgeous. A must-have book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Classic, November 25, 2008

When I first saw this book it was at our town's library. I immediately fell in love with the illustrations and the book's message. It is a wonderful reminder for little ones that the Lord is always watching over them. My soon-to-be 3 year old daughter will be getting it for Christmas this year and I can't wait to read it to her. In my opinion, it is a classic.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rather odd book for a child, March 12, 2007
This review is from: I See the Moon (Paperback)
I purchased this book because my daughter, adopted internationally, was given a name at birth which refers to the moon. We have many "moon" books for bedtime. Unfortunately, this book is not so soothing, and relies rather heavily on a Christian theme, which is not what I was expecting from teh title. The child is going to bed and sees the moon, but on the next page suddenly she's "alone in a boat at sea, won't anyone rescue me." Happily, she is brought safely ashore by God. The pictures are lovely, but the story just takes an odd turn early on and may not be quite what one expects from the title.
