From School Library Journal
PreSchool-K-Jungle begins with the phrase: "I spy with my little eye something beginning with the letter-J." A die-cut circle provides a glimpse of a jaguar's spotted coat through the verdant foliage. Flipping the page reveals the animal, and the word "Jaguar" with the letter "J" from the previous page shown through the cutout. This pattern is repeated throughout both texts, and the first letter of each animal named corresponds with the spelling of the respective habitat. The pleasing illustrations, done in soft, lush colors, and the clever format are integral parts of the stories. Although the typical audience for board books will enjoy these titles, the guessing element and animal-fact pages may be beyond this group, and better suited to children in preschool or kindergarten. Attractive additions offering a slightly new variation on the popular "I spy" theme.
