I went to 3 of his concerts last year, and I was very impressed with his love of God and his talent. Since then, I have been collecting his music and videos. This CD is unique for him because he usually does really upbeat songs (rock, rap, clap your hands and stomp your feet type christian music). On this CD he does the standard gospel songs very well in his own style which I love.

When I first bough it I did not know what to expect. But after I listened to this I was amazed how well Carman did. I never thought that Carman wouldever do hymns. I hope he does more.

FOR THE OLDER GENERATION, AND SOME OF THE YOUNG ONES TOO, THIS CD IS RIGHT ON TARGET. I LISTEN TO IT EVERYDAY. IT GETS ME GOING IN THE MORNING AND SETTLES ME DOWN IN THE EVENING. IT TOUCHES ON THE TRADITIONAL WITH A MODERN TWIST. YOU CANNOT HELP BUT SING ALONG. THIS CD WILL BE A GREAT WAY TO TEACH YOUNGSTERS SOME OF OUR OLD TIME SONGS.

Obviously, if you don't care for hymn arrangements and variations, you won't be considering this CD. If you do, however, like hymns like I do, you will simply love this CD. In fact, others in your family might get a little tired hearing this CD over and over, as that is what you will play it. Get it for someone who grew up in the church and was always there on those Sunday nights for favorite hymn nights. Neither you nor they will be disapointed.

This is by far one of my favorite Gospel CD's. I enter a state of praise and worship every time I hear it. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who has memory of growing up on the gospel and the old time hymns.

This is a really nice album that plays the songs I grew up hearing in church. Carman as always has an amazing voice, the songs are great, some are upbeat. Overall a really good album which all the old favorites.

This is one of Carmen's best c.d's- it is for the old & young alike. Not too radical & a lot of the older songs the older generation likes, but also appeals to the younger listener as well.

I just love this CD, not like the others where u buy them for two or three hit songs. N always looking for this button >>. All songs by Carman are smashing hymns. You press on > and sit back n throw the remote away. Great stuff.

Love him and all his songs. I listen to both of his CDs practically every day.
My granddaughter sings along also.

AWESOME CD! One of the VERY BEST traditional Praise CD's of all time. You knocked it out of the ball park with this one, Carman. Hope you will do another.
