Do Yourself a Favor- Buy this CD,

The first 5:56 of Huffamoose's third album, I WANT TO BE YOUR PANTS, is the most exciting six minutes of new music I've heard in a long time. Full out rock and roll. These two gems are followed by a wonderful ballad, "Isn't it remarkable." And so the CD progresses, an eclectic blend of rock, jazz, and ballads. If you have never listened to the band before you are in for a treat. Make sure you pick up their first two CD's as well. I have seen the band perform live on two ocassions and can only hope they tour to support this new CD. They are awesome in concert, and with the new CD they capture the excitement of their live shows. How can you not love a band with a song titled " A Johnny Depp Day." These guys are the real thing. I hope this CD finds them the audience they so richly deserve.

Best album cover ever,

Buy It. Besides the outstanding cover art, this is very excellent collection of goof rock, and I don't mean to be pejorative. The lyrics are funny, singable, and memorable. What stands out here is the original chord progressions and song structures full of chromatic lines and interesting changes. The band has a nice modern-rockish sound (slightly remeniscent of Cake but much better), good vocal talent, and is complimented by a perfect dash of incidental keyboard spice. The acoustic flavoring really keeps the album from getting boring, and "rock" heavy. In any case, Johnny Depp Day is destined to be a classic so you should buy it just for that. Enjoy
