4.0 out of 5 stars better than the original, December 8, 1999
This review is from: I Want You '98 Pt.2 (Audio CD)
Ok, so the original version of this song is pure Top 40 radio cheese. It is well known as the "Chickin Cherry Cola" song. These remixes do not do too much to stray from the original. The Xenomania Funky Mix is almost exactly the same with a couple of extra beats and blips in the background, some breaks as well, but very downtempo. The Sash! Extended Mix is a pretty standard mix as well, just injecting a faster house beat into a vocal that has not been re-recorded. The Sharp Miami Mix is the gem on this cd. Sharp works the similar magic on this track that they did with Britney Spears' "Baby One More Time" remix. Not as powerful or well done as the Britney remix, but by far the best mix of this song, including the original batch of remixes on the domestic cd single done by Jason Nevins and Freddy Bastone.
