While many people have yet to hear this band, I have a feeling that their anonymity will be short lived. Cabin provides a solid and undeniably impressive EP with "I Was Here", providing five tracks that range from guitar-backed forays into prog rock to slower, more thoughtful piano-rich songs.

Having heard this tease of an EP I cannot wait to hear what Cabin will come up with on a full length album. If you want to hear an amazing up and coming band with huge talent and a rich sound, give them a listen!

I first heard this band through a friend of mine and was immediately impressed by it. I've since played this EP for at least a dozen people and everyone was blown away by what they heard. You can't go wrong with downloading this for under $5. If you like Coldplay, U2 etc. you will dig it...trust me on this one. Oh, the production is excellent as well.

I Was Here EP

I first heard of the band about a year ago and I can't stop going back to it. With only 5 songs their strong lyrics cover moments/emotions we can all identify with and their harmonic instrumentation is easy to listen to, yet everything but commercial. Every time someone is able to combine piano, strings, and drums together breaks that "easy-listening" standard and all the sudden their music penetrates the listener deeply, and is felt with more than just the ear drums . . . It doesn't matter what mood I'm in, it fits every time. Now I'm ready for more of the same, please give us more CABIN?!
