It has lots of pictures about him in cute and not-so-cute poses (including his likes and dislikes) DVD has many videos. It is written in both English and Japanese (a piece will be in Japanese and right under it, the same peace will be in English). My favorite photo is him impersonating a very angry Hello Kitty. Everything is written in Maru's POV (Point of View). His guardian is referred by him as his housemate. Very adorable book!!!

(Short review because my english isn't very good)

I'm a huge fan of Maru and watched almost every video of him. That's why I ordered the Book.
The Book itself is very nice made. A good and quality-looking Hardcover with a nice Layout aswell. As a plus I note the DVD with the best 15 Videos of Maru in DVD-Quality and a lot of Maru-Wallpapers on it. As an addition, there are some nice Postcards that come with the book.

If I have to criticise something, I would go for the overall size of the Book. The Book itself looks a little bit tiny and a bigger format would have brought the nice pictures better viewable (You can see everything of curse but if it would be bigger it would be better - I hope you get what I mean). On the other hand, a bigger format would have risen the price for sure. Also not everything seems to be translated into english, but that I don't know, if thats really true, since I can't compare the japanese to the english sentences.

Besides these two points I'm very satisfied with the book, that's why I give five stars.

I figured I should write a review for this book even though I didn't buy it here on Amazon, you can purchase it elsewhere. Even though the book is almost twice as much in US dollars as it is in Yen, it is still worth it!! This book is a bargain in Yen! It is a small book, but it is a hardcover book with lots of nice photos, oh, and everything is subtitled so you can actually read the book. You also get some cute postcards, an adorable bookmark, and of course the DVD with videos and wallpapers.

if you are a true Maru fan, this book is nice to have. You get to see a lot more into Maru's daily life with this lil picture book, beyond what you see in his Youtube videos.

get yourself a copy of it now! you can order it from the Kinokuniya Japanese bookstore that has several locations across the country. I got my copy at their NYC store, but if you don't have one on your city you can order it online. I wish Amazon USA would sell these books! I'm sure it would be cheaper too.
