After 30 years of reading spirtual books, starting with Autobiograpy of A Yogi, through Alan Watts and Krishnamurti, this is the most powerful, life-changing book I have ever found. My thanks go out to Dr. Wayne Dyer for mentioning this teacher in his book, "Your Sacred Self" This book will never leave my side for the rest of my life.Now I know how Moses felt when he got a hold of those tablets for the first time! Study this book with great intent and you will be free forever.

This is one of the top five books I have read in my life. Lucky is the one who has heard about this book and still lucky is the one who reads it, luckiest is the person who reads it daily. Any passage in the book helps you to go in deep meditation.The most authentic book and the best of all the books of Nisargadatta maharaj. It is amazing that an illiterate man can show the path of tremendous wisdom in front of which even a PhD would look pale. Thank your stars if you are reading this review even.

Through teachers such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Alan Cohen, Robert Rabbin and more, all talking about this man, I just had to read his works. Now I can understand why so many authors quote this guru. It's amazing that a man with no formal education, just a belief that he was devine, propelled him to such a high level of clarity. I have read this book 7 times and have purchased more than 8 copies to give to friends and family. Do yourself a favor, buy this book! And yes, if I could only have one book to read, this would be it.

I love this book. If only his main teaching were not eventually to stop reading and actually to start the deep inner search he suggests, I would happily while way the rest of my life reading it.

Once you read this book you will never be the same again, for you will be elevated to a higher level of existance. Do yourself a favor read this book asap that means NOW and give it to everybody you know.

Words do no justice to the "teachings" found herein. I would recommend no other book prior to this. If one wishes to end suffering and awaken to ones true nature, this is all you shall require. With all, as all.

This is a book for the serious spiritual seeker. It points to the most basic of all facts: "What you are, you already are. By knowing what you are not, you are free of it and remain in your own natural state." Nisargadatta Maharaj is truly a rare light. Rather than dispelling darkness he helps us awaken to understanding that darkness is merely an illusion... a mirage. I know of no one who can aid you more on that journey than Nisargadatta Maharaj.

After reading this book I don't think anything else is required to be read in this world. I wish everybody is lucky enough to get a chance to read this book.

a wisdom without compromise, beyond any concept. Clear, easy and logical it deals with and leads to deepest spiritual insight. Since I have this book I really don't need any other (Amazon won't like this statement, ha ha). Every day I read in it and every day it is a fresh source of light touching in the dephts of my being. Only for those who feel a link to jnana-yoga.
