4.0 out of 5 stars Above average gamebook, March 5, 2011

--Characters--
I like how Indy's and the villians' lines are what you would expect from an Indiana Jones movie. Ironically, the character that isn't developed well into this book is the reader. The author puts stupid lines into the mouth of the reader and makes you do things you probably wouldn't have done. For example, on two occasions, the reader talks in such a loud voice that it catches the attention of the enemy. It's one thing when someone else does something stupid, but it's another when the author makes you do stupid things that you wouldn't have done without even giving you a choice.

--Artwork--
Good.

--Story--
There are a lot of interesting storylines in the book, which provides for above average entertainment. However, I didn't like how one of the pages has 2 choices that are both bad. If you're going to meet a bad ending anyway, what difference does it make to have 2 choices? A waste of space. Also, some of the storylines felt a little abrupt and not well developed - I think this book could have been a little better.

--Conclusion--
Overall, an above average gamebook that is worth a read, especially if you like the Indiana Jones movies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Indiana Jones and the Eye of the Fates, April 1, 2000

This is your typical "choose your own adventure" book. With many endings, some good and some not as satisfying, you will have hours of fun. You take the role of Indy's sidekick and travel with him in his adventures. Of course you will have to make the decisions the will affect your quest to find the Eye of the Fates. But If Indiana Jones puts his trust on you to choose the way, what could possibly go wrong? Enough said, if you enjoy "choose your own adventure" books you will definitely love this one.
