I bought this adapter because it was short & looked good. My car has an adapter plug in the armrest & I wanted one that had the cable coming out the side & would take up a minimum of space as my storage compartment is small.

This adapter fit the bill perfectly. Now for the down side, it seems that sometimes it will not connect properly and stop powering the device. You'll know this because the back end of the adapter lights up & the light will go out when it's not connected. Rotating the back of the device a little fixes it pretty quickly. I do have to get it in just the right spot for to connect though.

I don't unplug this adapter very often. It's inside the armrest compartment & out of the way so I leave it plugged in all the time. After just a few removals (3-4 max) the small plastic ring at the tip that holds the spring & tip in place cracked & came off. I did screw it back on, but it's paper thin & probably won't last more than one more unplugging.

All in all, it's a decent device, but you should be able to find a better one for less money.

This works great for all your gadgets! Very easy way to charge them on the go! Also very inexpensive.

Unit works like it says, I get wicked alternator hum when trying to charge and play my Zune so its one or the other, overall not bad, the unit is well made (well fitted together at least) ... I would give it a 7 out of 10, because it does what it says it will do, just not completely satisfactorally

I'm using this one with my Garmin GPSMap 60Csx and Motorola Razr V3x. It works flawlessly with both of them. I don't use it with my iPod because my JVC car audio system has iPod integration kit, but I know that it works with iPod also.

Not a whole lot to say. Put it in my jeep and it powers my Zune80 perfectly. No issues with it yet.
