4.0 out of 5 stars IBM DB2 9 New Features: Not a standalone book, January 12, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: IBM DB2 9 New Features (Paperback)
This is an okay book as long as you already have a good background in DB2 and/or other reference books for version 8. The book, as the title implies concentrates on New Features and doesn't give a comprehensive look at DB2. It is a pretty good companion to "Advanced DB2 Certification Guide and Reference for DB2 Universal Database V8."

It is not merely a re-hash of the IBM manuals, which is a common criticism of many of these books. That earns it a fourth star.
