First off you will need to get a usb that actually fits the device. It has yet to be determined what the OS requirements are

When your music is on push the 'menu' button twice. Not too fast. The second push should show 'Random' that is your shuffle. If that doesn't work then when you push menu and it shows folders...then scroll with the right side of the button and it should go to the second page to show 'Random and Intro' scroll to Random and hit 'menu' and it will show a "R" with an arrow at the top, then you know you are in shuffle mode. Hope you can play with it and get it figured out. it took me lots of time to figure it out, It works great for what I got it for. It can be a real pain sometimes. It can be inconsistent at times. Good Luck!

No, it is not Bluetooth compatible. You could buy an adapter but it would be another thing hanging off of it.

It's a pretty standard mp3 player and navigating the menu is a little bit more complicated than it needs to be. If you only hear thirteen seconds of track then Intro mode under repeat is the problem. Turning up the volume and things of this nature are on the software. I would have much rather had them make mechanical switches for toggling the volume up or down. Can't beat the price though.

This item is one of the few I have purchased from Amazon that does not work. I should have sent it back in June, but put it in a drawer and forgot about it....threw out my hard earned money. Sorry I have no answer for you.

I didn't find anything "easy" about this product. For example, to scroll up and down you use the left/right arrows. To select something that is highlighted, you use the "Menu" button. Maybe it is just me, but the operation was not at all intuitive. I returned it and paid about $10 more for a Sandisk Clip and it was what I expected. And, it has a clip on the back so you can clip it to your clothes while you exercise.

My music was on my computer in the I tunes library. The shuffle comes with an adapter that you plug in to the computer attached to the shuffle.

Yes , you can remove songs after there downloaded . All you do is right click and go down to the word delete or delete this song . You can also highlight it as if you were going to copy then paste except that you 'd right click and then delete if you have lots of song you need to delete ,( like in my case I had doubles for 60 songs and didn't know It ). Hope that helps you.

No, it is entirely solid-state, much like a flash or thumb drive.
