The latest edition of Faye Brown's book is a constant reference for experienced coders. What I like about it especially is that its explanations are through the various coding clinics. SAVE YOUR MONEY
I AM NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH THIS LEARNING GUIDE. WHEN I BOUGHT THE BOOK WITH ANSWERS I THOUGHT THE ANSWERS WOULD BE IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK TO VERIFY MY ANSWERS. THE ANSWERS ARE LOCATED WITH THE QUESTIONS SO I DON'T GET TO TEST MYSELF. NOW I WISH I WOULD OF PURCHASED THE BOOK BY CAROL BUCK INSTEAD. SAMPLE PAGES WOULD OF CHANGED MY MIND AND NOT WASTED MY MONEY.

Faye Brown is a basic resource for coding. I have been coding for 30 years and have purchased this book almost yearly. If you want to learn coding years this is a must. Cover the answers with a piece of paper and then code. I have, also, used it was a textbook. Well worth every penny.

Just discipline yourself by covering the answers and this is an absolute key to becoming a certified medical coder (especially CCS or CCS-P).
