This review is from: 2010 ICD-9-CM for Hospitals, Volumes 1, 2 and 3 Professional Edition (Compact), 1e (AMA ICD-9-CM for Hospitals (Professional Compact)) (Paperback)
The 2010 ICD-9-CM for Hospitals Volumes 1, 2 and 3 Professional Edition (Compact), (American Medical

Association) By Carol J. Buck.

The ICD-9-CM Volume 1, Tabular list contains illustrations, pictures, and is color coded to assist me in understanding difficult terminology, diseases/conditions, or coding in a specific category. Throughout the volumes updates, additions, or deleted codes or words are shown by the following symbols. I love the Netter:

Atlas of Human Anatomy for easy access and very descriptive material for coding.

The ICD-9-CM Volumes 1, 2, and 3 Symbols are used to identify New, Revised, or Deleted Material.

This textbook was a good price at $71.58 the regular retail price was $99.95 it was a total savings of $28.37.

It shipped out the next business day, all three volumes of the 2010 ICD-9-CM for Hospitals Volumes 1, 2, and 3 is a compact version. This textbook is a good resource for anyone pursuing a career in medical billing.

out that same day. Courteous and efficient service, thank you.

2.0 out of 5 stars Missing Pages, July 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I required this book for an online class. After a few lessons, I realized the book was missing pages 774 - 823 (medical codes 040-207). I started to access the missing codes online for ICD-9-CM, since I really couldn't take the time to return the book and wait for a complete copy to be shipped. Going through all of that would put me behind in the course. I can't imagine why anyone would take out a whole section of the book. They need to make sure these books are complete.
