These spoons filled exactly the need I had: a set of inexpensive, useful long-handled spoons for everyday use. I couldn't be more pleased. I gave the product 4 stars instead of five only because the spoons are quite plain. In fact, when I opened them, I was somewhat skeptical about the quality. They do look quite thin. I worried that they would be too easy to bend or damage.

I need not have worried, however. I have found that they hold up very, very well to daily use. I use them for stirring drinks like iced tea, eating smoothies from a tall shaker, reaching the bottom of tall jars, stirring the coffee grounds in my French press, etc. It would probably be possible to bend one if it were buried deeply in hard frozen ice cream and some muscle were applied. On the other hand, I have used these spoons to eat hard frozen ice cream without any mishap whatever.

A bonus to the plain design (which includes a flat handle), is that the spoons nest together very nicely and take up very little space in the cutlery drawer.

I recommend this product to anyone looking for a useful, inexpensive, everyday use product. In fact, I am pleased enough that I am ordering another set. The other members of my family use these a lot and I often have trouble finding a clean one to use. In this case, eight is not enough. :-)

I was thrilled to have found this set at such a good price. One can't have enough iced tea spoons here in Texas. They are also very useful when a long handled spoon is needed for tall jars. They are classic, simply styled to go with any flatwear you already have. I would definately recommend them at such a great price.
