I have recently been diagnosed with eye muscular degeneration. This seems to be the vitamin with the highest potency for the health of the eyes. There is conciderable research being done for this eye desease and as far as I know no treatment has been endorsed by the FDA, however there seems to be some success with treatment with these vitamins. I have been taking them for about six months and my eyes dont't seem to have gotten any worse.

Icaps are wonderful vitamins for your eyes. I have the beginning of macular degeneration and my doctor recommended these. Her comment was that everyone should start taking these at birth and she would be out of business. Thank you for product and the great value.

This product was recommended to me by my Opthamologist several years ago because she detected early signs of macular degeneration. The following year improvements were seen so that there was no evidence in 1 eye and very little in the other. Things have been stable since then. Everyone 50 or over would benefit from switching to this as their vitamin.

This product was recommended by my eye doctor. I take only this vitamin and have quit taking all other vitamins. My doctor said this vitamin was the only one I need. I take four a day.

There are lots of different Icaps formulas. This is just a very expensive multiple vitamin sold under the iCaps name and is not the formula for eyes. If you want the one for age related eye disease, do not get this one, get

Areds stands for Age Related Eye Disease.

I wonder where all the 5 star ratings came from for this formula. Sometimes I suspect that companies get their employees to log into Amazon and give positive ratings.

I would recommend this product to anyone who suffers from extremly dry eyes. I've tried numerous eye drops and none of them seemed to get rid of my dry eyes for more than a few minutes. My eyes always looked red or even yellow and I was beginning to wonder if this was something I had to live with for the rest of my life. To top it off, I sit at a desk all day long in front of a computer. I've tried eye drops specifically for "Computer Eyes." Did not work = ( The dryness also made my vision blurry.
After using this product for just two days, I've noticed vast improvement in the way my eyes look. The whites of my eyes are finally white! I no longer have to use eye drops. I just take two tablets in the morning and two tablets at night with food. I sometimes take it without food and it does not bother my stomach. My vison is no longer blurry and I can see without having to blink several times. I can't say enough about how wonderful this product is!

I'm taking these vitamins per the reccomendation
of my ophthalmologist. I have the dry form of
macular degeneration and it was suggested that
the increased lutein and mineral formulation
might slow the progress of the disease. There
are as of now no clinical studies that I know of
to support this. I'm sure they will be forth-
coming. Alcon the company that makes this product
specializes in eyecare.

My ophthalmalogist prefers the I-Cap formulation to its competitor. The daily dosage is 4 pills, which is both plus and a minus.

I have always taken multi-vitamins. My eye doctor suggested I take these that contain several things for good eye health along with a general multi-vitamin. The only draw back is you take 4 per day. 2 in the a.m. and 2 in the p.m. I have had no illl effects from this vitamin.
