After using your typical drug store based lubricants (ie KY brand), I bought this off a website. I thought for sure it would last forever because there's so much but we must be compensating because we've used quite a bit already.

ID Glide has a wonderfully slick texture and doesn't feel gloopy or sticky like other lubricants. It doesn't take much at all and your parts don't wind up feeling sticky after a while, unlike other lubricants.

It also has a slightly sweet taste which we found out quite by accident but it was a pleasant surprise.

Additionally, ID Glide is okay to use with condoms!

I suppose that like most women I had always assumed that I produced enough lubricant naturally, and that bottled lubricants were for older women or those with some sort of a physical problem. Well, I have learned differently! During extended foreplay a woman's natural lubricants aren't always enough to keep her experiencing the optimum of pleasure. A lubricant such as this one reduces or eliminates unpleasant friction, and it makes everything slide smoothly and pleasantly along.

ID Glide is a water-based lubricant, which means that it is unlikely to promote a yeast infection, and it is quick and easy to clean up. Unlike silicone and oil-based lubricants it is friendly both to your body and to your toys.

Also, beyond all that, I have learned that ID Glide makes an excellent massage fluid. Its thick formula means that it won't simply run off, but can placed where you wanted and then spread out and into the skin. ID Glide is both flavor and scent free, which means that it leaves no trace behind and gives it a natural feel to it that I love. Buy one of the larger size bottles, such as this one, so that you can give a great massage, and not feel like you have to scrimp with the lubricant!

Overall, I love the feeling I get when I use ID Glide, and know that you will too. I highly recommend this product to all adults!

FYI: In general, there are three types of lubricants and each has its pros and cons. Water-based lubes are easy to cleanup and are unlikely to cause yeast infections, but on the down side they do need to be renewed every half hour or less due to drying. Oil-based lubes tend to have maximum slipperiness and last longest, but can lead to yeast infections and tend to break down latex condoms and toys quite quickly. Silicone-based lubes fall in between these two, being slicker and longer lasting than water-based lubes, but they do require longer clean up times, can stain sheets and clothing, and will eventually break down silicone toys.

I have been using Astroglide for years but this was a better lubricant and for less money! I have switched to this now.

Better than astroglide. Won't leave whoever is on the other end of this stuff feeling sticky and disgusting, highly recommended.

Ok if you're reading this review, I feel it is safe to assume you can handle a more "detailed" review.

I'll start by saying that this is the first "lube" I've ever tried. My girlfriend and I decided to give lube a shot to see if we liked it. We've never needed it per se, but always thought it might be a fun change. I read the reviews and decided a water based lube would be the best fit and this seems to be a pretty popular one on Amazon.

I decided to try it out on myself before subjecting the girlfriend to it. I'll just come right out and say it, this stuff is awesome. It's super slippery, doesn't get sticky/tacky, lasts quite a while, and cleanup is a breeze. Girlfriend got to try it the next night and we are totally hooked. It helps so much to have just that extra little bit of lubrication to keep things running. We use it to warm each other up, but then if I decide to go down on her (or vice versa), the taste doesn't make you want to throw up. In fact, it's kind of sweet and not at all nasty.

Makes sex much more enjoyable as we don't have to worry about the goodies getting dried out. Clean up is easy. Doesn't stain sheets. Awesome.

Recommended: Heck yeah!

As a sensual lubricant, ID Glide is much better than KY jelly. ID Glide is more slippery, has a better consistency, lasts longer, costs much less, is oderless, and has only a very faint sweet taste. The dispenser works very well too.

The previous reviewer must've been extremely high and thought they were using KY or something. This NEVER gets sticky and is so so very smooth. Will only use this from now on.

This a very good product. I have bought it at other places and at Amazon is the cheapest place to buy it.

We are an older couple who was checking out the alternatives to the usual tubes of AstroGlide and K-Y. We really didn't expect to find anything better, so ID Glide was a very pleasant surprise. It does in fact give a very smooth and sensuous sensation that bests the others. The lady loves somewhat copious quantities, and we have discovered that it can be so exciting for a man that it can take the sensuality of a hand job to heights that are more pleasurable than oral sex. For women who may not feel in a good position to offer oral sex, ID Glide essentially opens the door to some new levels of sexual experience that a man may feel are more preferable. Between the two of us, we can think of nothing that would not benefit from ID Glide, and the lady was asking me to order more when we still had two-thirds of the bottle left. In her own mind, she's already written off the other brands and means to toss the remaining amounts. I hope this helps.

I love this product, my significant other doesn't seem to like it that much. She says it tends to be too slippery but I just think i'm using too much. Great for back door play!!!
