Brilliant design well executed
Once you set the pressure for how tight the pliers lock you can leave it. You don't have to adjust locking mechanism every time you use it, unlike traditional vice grips. They are well made and do the job. A pleasure to use.

its a good well rounded tool but keep a coat of wd-40 on it cuz it will rust so 3 stars for quality

These tools have worked OK so far. They are a cross between a Vice Grip and a Channel Lock. Mine are not very well made. I have returned one for replacement due to rust which was promptly replaced. Sometimes they are difficult to close, a consequence of poor fit and finish. However, it does lock on a nut or bolt easily usually, holds pretty well, doesn't strip the object. For the price, its nice to have one.

I find these difficult to use compared to regular vise grips. Maybe once you get used to them, they might be better.
