I watched you-tube video 3 times and read the rules but the rules seemed too condensed and not enough examples. I had to read the rules and tried to play 3 times before I figured out the game. I almost gave it up until a you-tube gamer that I liked watching said it was in his top 10 of the year games. That is what encouraged me to figure it out and after that I found the game as a true strategy game. Not fun like oh lets play this so we can have fun and laugh, but strategically fun as can I out wit my opponents - fun.

I'm not a fan of Glory to Rome or Race for the Galaxy. If you are familar with those, then you'll know what this game is about. The theme is paper thin. They use dinosaur terms to discribe locations, but that's about it. This game is too much work to be fun.
