IFR Pocket Guide is sized to fit conveniently in a flight bag pocket. It is intended to be used as a review of IFR flight regulations and procedures and as a supplement to IFR flight training. The first section allows listing important flight/operation information, v-speeds, etc. for up to 5 aircraft as well as a section for personal minimums and the listing of important phone numbers. There is a Holding Pattern Entry Computer, rules-of-thumb, memory aids and checklists. A few of the many topics covered are: clearances and clearance shorthand, weather information gathering sources and choosing an alternate airport. It contains 20 clearance forms and 20 PIREP forms to encourage and to make it easier for pilots to make in-air weather reports. It is full of essential information which, when reviewed on a regular basis helps the pilot plan and complete each IFR flight safely. Of course there is much, much more.
