This product is fun to practice on as I don't have my new car together just yet. So staying sharp on the tree is key.

with the invention of new game engines this a poor representation of the car racing genre very poor graphics and limited game options and controls. a waste of time money and resources on behalf of the game designers. ihra has marred its name by sponsoring this game.

The Engine Sounds are completely poor.
The Graphics are decent, but without choices.
The Gameplay is too defaulted and controlled by the game.
The Tuning opportunities are interesting yet not mechanically accurate.
Bethesda Softworks really should put one more decent effort out there- as the entire Drag Racing genre is lacking in selection.
They are all wondering if it is just too limited of a target market. These games really aren't for littl kids. These are PC games made for fanatical adults racing vicariously at home! My Overall Rating and Gameplay value: 5/10

I bought this game with the hopes that Bethesda took their previously successful game "Burnout" (which I own), and upgraded the graphics. wrong!
The box should read, "for ages up to 8yrs". It is really that bad!
Futhermore, when I saw that Dan Fletcher (NHRA Superstock racer from Div 2)was on the cover, I thought, or hoped, that he had some input to the accuratcy of the game. NOT!
THIS GAME, IN NO WAY, SIMULATES REALITY! The game was probably designed by some low rent intern that has never seen a dragstrip.
Having been involved in NHRA drag racing for 20 years, I find calling it, "Sportsman Edition" the insult of the century!
Shame on you Bethesda! you really blew it with this one.

If you play IHRA Motorsport. Dont think this game is the same. Its not. ItS like a little kids game and I dont think it is worth 2 cents.
