These guys are great!,
By Scott (NV, United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: II: Power of Moonlite (Audio CD)
I would highly recommend this album to ANYONE, I've just recently got into Tiger Army, I bought this album expecting some mediocre, generic "psychobilly", but it was not that at all, Tiger Army has style and this album (along with the other 3) prove that. I've been listening to it non stop since I got it, I like a band that has variety, where I can tell songs apart from each other, this album has variety. there are pretty straight forward "punk" songs like "Towards Destiny" and "F.T.W." and there are "psychobilly" songs like "Incorporeal", "When the Night comes down", and "Under Saturns Shadow".
Then there are songs like "Cupids Victim" witch is pretty much straight Rockabilly, and I love it. "The Orchard" is another fantastic song, its got a country feel to it, but in a real good way, definetly one of my favs on the album, in fact it might be one of the best songs I've ever heard, and I listen to a LOT of music, listen to it, I'm sure you'll like it.. There is an AFI resemblence to it, but Davy Havok does a lot of backing vocals, and Nick 13 has been doing backing vocals for AFI since the start so...............its understandable, I like it. This is a great album, plus London May (Samhain) plays drums on it...............you can't lose, buy it NOW!!!!!!!!

Tiger Army Never Die!!!!,
By Martin 13 (Slovenia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: II: Power of Moonlite (Audio CD)
This album is great! Nick 13's singing is great and his songwriting is better. Geoff Kresge is playing stand-up bass and London May (ex. Samhain, Son Of Sam) is on drums. And on background vocals you can hear Davey Havok (A.F.I.) yellin'. Songs are sometimes even darker. "Incorporeal", "Power Of Moonlite", "When The Night Comes Down", "Valley Of Dreams", "Annabel Lee" (inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's song of the same name) and "In The Orchard" (Marty Robbins ballad featuring a pedal steel guitar) are all great songs.

Tiger Army is a great band and this is an amazing album. Nick 13's songwriting skills seem to get better with each new track. A great example is under Saturn's Shadow and Cupid's victim. If you get the chance see them live also, they won't dissapoint. Hell, I went out of my way to see them w/a broken arm. Tiger Army THANKS for all your music and hours upon hours of listening enjoyment.
