Went to a club and saw these guys perform. Needless to say I love'd all their tracks and I bought their album the very next day. Its absolutely fabulous!

Its a blend of TECHNO-ish, CLUB-ish, HOUSE-ish even JAZZ-ish and most definitely has Arabian tunes to it. After all, REG is from Lebanon.

I listen to it in my car (it's been in the cd tray for the past 6 months and am still not bored), dance around in the driver's seat, and have a blast regardless of how crazy I look! Track 7 is also my favorite!

Get this CD. It's definitely worth the buy. I've been searching for similar artists with no luck. Most dont even come close.

There is a lot of good, hard driving World Beat music on this disc. If you like pumping beat with an Arabic flavor this it for you...

I LOVE this album! I was looking for music I could jog or jump rope to. Most techno or dance-type music is so mind-numbingly repetitive that it makes me want to throw myself in front of a bus, but this album is truly original and totally Middle Eastern. It has a few mellow songs, but also a few REALLY fast-paced ones perfect for working out to. Most of these are instrumental. My favorite track is #7. This album is just so different from anything I have ever heard. Wonderful!!

The R.E.G Project modestly titles their newest Arabic groove CD as simply "II." The initials R.E.G. stand for Ralph (Khoury), Elie (Barbar) and Guy (Manoukian). They started out in the Ibiza bar scene, blending Arabic sounds with the lounge music typical of the hot bar scene on the trendy Spanish island. This album is just plain cool if you like that World-Music sound blended into pop jazz. I don't know why, but I just like it a lot.

We discovered Claude Challe and others 5 years ago. One of my friends went to India and brought a double album called Nirvana Loundge. Well, five years later I own all albums of Claude, David, REG, and others. Proudly can say about $3ooo worth, and I never turned the radio on since then. This is a fresh air for those who are opened for new sound experience. Buy them all they will stimulate your imagination and get you in the mood of creativity!

This is a great CD! As soon as the package came, I couldn't wait to open and start listening. I bought REG Project II from a private seller...cdrama, and everything arrived intact. Purchased new, and for anyone who loves Arabic, Indian, Tribal, or World Music in general this a must CD. Track #3 is my favorite...'Lela Lela'. Simply beautiful music.

When my co-worker started telling me about this song called "Habibi", I thought it would be a different style, but, when I actually hear the music. I was entranced, I started listening to it from work to my house, from errand to errand, I find it very enchanting. Even my 64 year-old father likes it because it kind of sounds like Spanish folk music... Which would be an accurate assessment due to the fact that there is an Arabic ancestry to the Spainards... I absolutely am enthralled by this music and will spread the word!!!!
