Supermusic!,
This review is from: III (Supernature) (Audio CD)
This lp/cd is amazing. The opening track Supernature simply widens the conciousness. The violin solo in Love Is Here is beyond comaprison. Very inventive and stimulating record in overall. This is a crown jewles of eurodisco from the 70's.

FOR DANSTITUTES ONLY,
By Tom Wilson (Glasgow) - See all my reviews
This review is from: III (Supernature) (Audio CD)
Easily the most consistently good Cerrone album: this is what we really shook our groove things to back in the 1970's. Enough has already been said about Supernature, but the compelling rhythms of Give Me Love are usually overlooked and Love Is Here must have spawned a million self-help books-you can't do anything other than dance and smile to this wonderful tune. If you love this, you must find Don Ray-Got To Have Lovin'

Where are the 35 seconds gone?,
By "xoxi1" (Germany) - See all my reviews
This review is from: III (Supernature) (Audio CD)
Please forgive me Mr. Cerrone, that I give this milestone in music history only 4 stars. I wonder where the 35 seconds are gone on every CD release I can get. It is meanwhile the 3 "Third CD" from different labels, but on all these 35 seconds lost, that I have on my vinyl longplay. This is another reason, not only look to CD's. If someone of you have a LP don't give it away. Everybody can see how important the "Supernature" is for me that I see this mistake. If the CD is as well correct I will give 10 stars. If someone knew a CD which is as long as the LP, let me know and I will buy it the next day.

The best of Cerrone's earliest albums,
By A Customer
This review is from: III (Supernature) (Audio CD)
This album is better than Cerrone's two previous albums. To be sure, Cerrone's debut "Love In C Minor" made it into the top 40 hits in U.S.A at the pre "Saturday Night Fever" period of grace for disco in America, yet it contains a remake of "Black Is Black"; if that album had been made of solely origional material, it might have overshadowed any ensuing Cerrone album. Besides that, "Supernature" consists of two long tracks whilst the track "Midnite Lady" on the debut album is about half the duration of the songs on "Supernature". Finally, I think the artistry of "Supernature" surpasses somewhat that of the debut album. This album deserves the 5 stars rating notwithstanding "Sweet Drums"+"In The Smoke" which aren't to my liking. because of their near stillness nature. These two do not effect the overall qualities of the track "Supernature" since they can be considered a continuation of the fading out of this track. At any rate, you can consider them redundant or ignore them altogether.

The best work of Cerrone,
By Maria Giovanna (Bagnolo Mella, Brescia Italy) - See all my reviews

Cerrone's "Supernature" is a truly fantastic cd! From the first track, you can hear his typical, rich groove, with electronic, hi-nrg oriented sounds, as well as disco beats and classic bass lines. The best track, for me is "Give Me Love", here presented in the original 1977's long version. A must-have for any Cerrone fan!

WOW! Still sounds good after 20 years!,

I first heard this when it was on 8-track. It belonged to my sister and I would listen to it over and over whenever she wasn't around. I never heard this music on the radio but I thought it was good music. I must have been about the age of 10.The song "Supernature" sounds like todays dance music. It was ahead of it's time. And the 3rd song sounds like Enigma's music. Anyway, I couldn't believe that this album exsisted on CD and Amazon.com is the only place I know of that had it. So, I ordered it and I'm glad I did! It still sounds good since it's release date 1977.

WHAT HAPPENED?!!,
By Canuco "Canuco" (New York City) - See all my reviews

One the great dance albums... but whomever re-worked the tapes has altered it to the point where the vinyl record actually sounds better. The first part of the opening number is gone all together. The overall sound of this re-release has been either equalized wrong or was over compressed. Please spare your money and pass on this. Try to find Cerrone 3 by another production house. It's too bad that a great dance album has it's feel and completeness dissected by someone who does not understand the work.

Superdisco,

When you hear Supernature for the first time, you will know it is not really the first time. It's beat and arrangements and melody will just make you dance (even if you don't want to). It's a must-have disco classic. It's still a hit. Here in Brazil it is very well known by expertise DJs and a very hard to find CD (I have it in record LP). Don't skip tracks, just press the play button and fasten your seat belt. Have a nice take-off (or should I say blast or space trip or whatever). Cheers from Brazil.
