I received the item and unwrapped it. When I went to flip it out the blade would remain stuck inside one of the handles unless I used an inordinate amount of force and it made practicing nearly useless. After a while longer one of the pins holding a handle fell out and the thing came apart, I decided that I was completely unimpressed with the item. It's balanced ok, and seems to be pretty sturdily built other than the pins. Be warned when you buy this that you get what you pay for.

Ive had this about a month and it is still going strong it is very sturdy and has a good weight and feel. it is excellent for the price
