You can purchase this direct from IKEA for $1.99 versus the $9.99 you are going to pay by purchasing it here. Great little item that I picked up at the checkstand when I was at IKEA. I use it at least a couple times a week when I want frothy milk on my cuppa joe.

Ok here's the deal, leave the doctors, nurses and operating room staff exactly where they should be in the O.R. They are the ones with the degrees of higher learning, training and the brain surgeries should be kept exactly there.

This is the opposite. There are no instructions included, but keep it simple:

1) Install AA batteries and close the cover ( not included )
2) Pour milk into a container ( I used 2% )
3) Press the on button to on position
4) let the milk aerate ( froth )

It only takes about 30 seconds and you should move the head of the mixer from the bottom up.

I add my coffee to it, but if you like syrup add that before the coffee ( about a shot glass full ). ( I have a sweet tooth, but don't need to add sugar after the syrup)

Very cheap in price, but not in design and so worth it.

I will not be going to a coffee shop in the near future

My latte cost me about $.50 compared to about $4.50 for the same coffee.

Great little frother. Make sure it has charged batteries for the full strength frothing.
In the video, I show that it can be used to make whipped cream.

Amazing that I no longer have to pay $15 or more for a critical kitchen gadget. I was skeptical when I first saw the $2 Ikea frother - I almost passed it up. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MORE EXPENSIVE FROTHERS AND THIS. Nota bene: Buy multiples - I know from long experience that ANY frother has a brief life.

In this case I got more than what I paid for. Yes I bought five for 99 cents each and paid too much for shipping. But I was without one for months looking for a replacement for my old "frother" / mixer. My old one lasted five years before the motor died. I saw many priced from $5 to $35, exactly like the one I just purchased. I purchased my old one in a supermarket for $2 five years ago. When I saw them for 99 cents I figured they would not last long or might be defective hence the order for five. The first one out of the package was powerful and terrific. It is strong enough to scramble eggs! I can't say enough. The only issue, and it is a minor one compared to what I have received, is the paper battery installation label placed on the body of the frother. It is extrmely hard to remove. Apparently folks cannot read the impressed battery design on the plastic bottom of the frother. They insert the batteries incorrectly then complan it doesn't work. For 99 cents such a deal!

Upon opening the package it was very light weight and we thought it probably wouldn't last too long. After putting in the batteries..it was extremely powerful and works like a charm to froth any type of milk or creamer. Great product, better price!!!

Just received my frother yesterday and I've already used it to make no less than 6 cups of Chai Latte. I was worried that it wouldn't be able to froth up my almond milk but it worked amazingly. Yes, it's just a cheap little lightweight whip but it packs a punch and froths up milk in a matter of seconds! I think IKea sells these for around $2.00 but I don't have a store close to me so buying it here was less expensive then driving to my closest store. Not sure how long this will last but given the cost of coffee shop lattes, I've already gotten my money out of it! Oh, and if you're not into latte, I tasted the frothed warm vanilla almond milk before adding it to my Chai and it tasted like the most wonderful, airy, light hot chocolate I've ever tasted!
